Memory Enhancement can improve your life.

Memory enhancement excercises for seniors can greatly improve your life, wellness and peace of mind. There are several different categories for your memory. These include remembering dates and events, names and faces, factual information and lists. In each of these areas there are different techniques and tools that you can use for your memory improvement.

If your one of these people that can never remember someones name; there are several techniques that you can use. The most commonly used memory enhancement exercise for seniors is to associate a rhyme with their name. For example, if your out at a party and get introduced to a new person named Tony. The first thing you want to do is make sure you repeat their name once or twice in conversation. “Hi Tony, pleased to meet you.” This will help to confirm their name in your short term memory.

A technique, that I use for remembering peoples names is to associate that person with someone I already know, (maybe even from childhood) with that person. For example if I meet a guy named Bruce; I will automatically picture my childhood best buddy Bruce and then when I see this new Bruce again; it will automatically trigger this memory. There are many other simple memory enhancement exercises for seniors that you can easily master. Students of all ages can greatly benefit from increased memory ability.
